"Ate there last night for the second time and it was even better than the first. Took my Greek dad (and mom, sister and her husband) and he thought the food was very authentic. Everything was delicious, gyro, pistachio, moussaka, spanakopita, etc. Service was friendly but very slow, which we think was because everything is made fresh to order; it was worth the wait. "Being fussy about Greek food, the Plaka was tops. We had Avgolemono soup which is a lemon orzo soup that was delicious. I had Youvetzi which is lamb and tomato orzo stewlike. The lamb came off the bone with my fork and it melted in my mouth. The Greek salad was very good as well as the desserts." - Bill
"Went to Plaka last night with my hubby. We started with the platter of dips and they were good. The olives served with the complimentary pita were amazing. Had the lamb and orzo and it was delicious. My hubby had the lamb and beef gyro and thought it was good. BYOB, so that's a plus. Great neighborhood spot with inviting and helpful staff." - Veronique

"Loved this new restaurant. Ordered a few appetizers over a couple of visits as my meal and way to taste several things - includes sampler platters. All were generous portions and excellent, home made taste. Unique and yummy food. Great bread basket. Great service, clean and newly renovated with both booths and table with table cloth.
